One Piece has been running for more than twenty-five years, and its crew is one of the most recognisable in anime. If you're choosing a One Piece t-shirt, the real question is: whose side are you on? Here's a quick guide to the characters and designs fans wear most.

Monkey D. Luffy

The captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, with a rubber body and a dream of becoming King of the Pirates. Luffy designs range from his classic straw hat and red vest to "Wanted" bounty posters and his Gear forms. If you want one tee that every fan recognises, it's Luffy.

Gear 5 (Nika)

Luffy's awakened form, all white hair and cartoon energy. Gear 5 designs are the newest wave of One Piece merch and look great as big back prints.

Roronoa Zoro

The crew's swordsman, famous for fighting with three swords and for getting lost. Zoro tees tend to be darker and moodier — green, black and steel — a good pick if you want something bolder than the cheerful Luffy look.

Nami

The Straw Hats' navigator, with her Clima-Tact weather staff and a love of tangerines (and money). Nami designs are bright and full of colour — a favourite with women fans.

Ace and Sabo

Luffy's sworn brothers, both tied to fire. Designs with the two together, wrapped in flames, are among the most striking One Piece prints.

The Straw Hat Jolly Roger and the whole crew

The skull wearing a straw hat is the crew's flag. It works as a simple, bold emblem — or as the centrepiece of a big design with every crew member around it.

Fit and colour tips

  • Oversized suits One Piece prints — most of ours have a big back print and a small chest or sleeve detail. Take your usual size; see the size guide.
  • Black makes fire, flames and bright colours pop. White shows detailed line art. Yellow feels sunny and very "Straw Hat".
  • Keep the rest of the outfit simple — the print is the star. Our styling guide for women and for men have ideas.

One Piece prints are detailed. Wash inside out in cold water and never iron directly on the print to keep the colours sharp.
